What is HFA LIVE?
HFA LIVE is a virtual conference, bringing together staff, leaders and families from HFA programs and systems all across the US.
When is HFA LIVE?
October 27-29, 2026
It is 3 days long – and everything is recorded, so if you miss something, you’ll be able to catch it later.
The conference includes three keynotes sessions, over 50 break-out sessions and On Demand recordings, plus opportunities to network and connect. If you speak Spanish, you can choose conference sessions offered in Spanish across our agenda!
Why should I come?
It’s not just an awesome opportunity to learn more about HFA! Parents at HFA Live will learn more about building healthy relationships in your family, connect with other HFA Parents, and to be inspired! It is a chance to feel a sense of belonging and growth within a nationwide network. And it is a great way to develop professionally, whether as an HFA Parent Leader, a future HFA staff member, or even in your own field.

Daily Keynotes
If your time is limited, you might choose to attend only the keynote sessions as live events. Come together with thousands of others from our HFA network to hear from experts in the field. The energy at our keynote sessions is electric, as staff, leaders and parents join in from across the country and the US territories.
Keynotes take place each day at 11:00 am Central! (9:00 am Pacific, 10:00 am Mountain, noon Eastern time)
Sessions Selected by HFA Parents for HFA Parents
With over 50 break-out session topics, it can be hard to choose! One way to engage with HFA Live conference content is to pick from the break-out sessions selected by HFA’s National Parent Advisory Group as the topics that may be of particular interest to HFA Parents. We have scheduled the “selected by parents” sessions across the conference agenda to make it easy to find meaningful information at any point and time.

HFA LIVE is definitely more fun when it is LIVE, but you’ll have access to all of the recordings for a month afterward as well, so if you have to miss something you really want to see, it will be there for you afterward!
