Nate Humphrey

Nate Humphrey is a passionate and skilled accountant with a wealth of experience across various industries. A proud graduate of Illinois State University, Nate earned his accounting degree in 2016. He kicked off his career at Shepard Schwartz & Harris, where he spent two years sharpening his expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.

After his time in public accounting, Nate transitioned to an accounting consultant role, dedicating five years to refining month-end processes for companies of all sizes and industries. His knack for process improvement has consistently led to enhanced operational efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

In 2024, Nate brought his talents to Prevent Child Abuse America, driven by his commitment to making a positive impact. Beyond his professional endeavors, Nate is deeply involved in his community, Nate has volunteered with organizations like UIC’s Community Outreach Intervention Projects and the Cook County Juvenile Center. His ultimate goal is to help create a more equitable and just society where all children and youth can thrive.

Outside of work, Nate cherishes time with his two daughters. Whether they’re exploring nature on walks or trying out new sports, Nate loves sharing these adventures with them.
