For this first in the HFA Leadership in Action series, we’ll hear from Joe Battiistelli, of the national Count All Kids initiative. The 2020 census is now, and now more than ever before it is critical that all children are counted. In the last census over 2 million children under the age of five were missed. We live with the impacts of this for 10 years. Census counts impact teacher:student classroom ratios, and they impact the amount of funding we all rely on for our HFA work and other community-based family and child services.
