No. This extension automatically applies to any staff hired within the defined timeframe. Sites will not need to provide a letter to peers during an accreditation site visit in order to be eligible for consideration of this extension.
Virtual Core is now available through HFA’s Learning Management System. You can contact your local HFA trainer (if you have one), or register for a national training on our events calendar to sign up!
No. Virtual core training as developed by the national office and facilitated by trainers who have been certified in the virtual core track will meet all of the requirements for role-specific training as described in the HFA BPS. Staff who attend and complete all virtual core training activities will not be required to attend an in-person Core.
