HFA Parent Advisory Committee Application

HFA is recruiting new members for the Parent Advisory Committee!

Applications for the Parent Advisory Committee will be accepted from January 23, 2026 through March 27, 2026.

HFA’s National Parent Advisory Committee is a group of HFA graduate or soon-to-graduate parents who bring parent leadership experience and contribute their perspectives to help shape the future of Healthy Families America at the national level. They provide key insights and recommendations that advance HFA through partnership and advocacy.

Committees have different areas of focus and different needs…

Eligibility & Background

Are an HFA parent graduate or soon-to-be HFA parent graduate

Have parent leadership experience

Are from a state not currently represented on PAC

Commitment & Participation

Are committed to supporting the quality, growth, and development of HFA

Are able to attend monthly Zoom meetings every 4th Monday of the month from 6-7:30pm CT ($100 reimbursement provided each month)

Are willing to serve as a resource to others

Interest & Engagement

Are interested in promoting national HFA efforts

Are interested in joining with other passionate HFA parents who want to help shape the future of HFA
