HFA Advisory Committee Applications

HFA is recruiting new members for the Training Advisory Committee and for the Accreditation Panel.

Applications for the Training Advisory Committee and the Accreditation Panel will be accepted from May 26, 2025 through June 16, 2025.

We are looking for applicants from HFA sites, as site-level staff can be underrepresented on national office committees.  And in particular, we are looking for folks from smaller sites and rural sites, applicants who are representative of HFA families, including applicants who may be former HFA parents themselves!

Learn more about the committees below and scroll down to find the application.

Accreditation Panel

Reviews, provides feedback, and makes accreditation decisions for sites and multi-site systems; addresses suggestions, comments, issues and concerns on existing national office policies, procedures and practices related to the HFA Best Practice Standards and/or accreditation process; and advises HFA national staff with regards to revisions and updates to the HFA Best Practice Standards, and the HFA Central Administration Standards.

Training Advisory Committee (TAC)

TAC represents the HFA network and is a voice from the field to the national office as it relates to training. The committee reflects the diverse representation and experiences within the HFA network, including geographic diversity, content focus, and HFA professional roles, in order to ensure that a broad range of experiences inform and shape the national training arena.
