Guiding Questions

1) Have you prepared yourself on logistics - time, place, position on the agenda - to avoid any surprised on the day of? Do you know your audience?

2) Have you prepared statements that:

  • Clearly identify your reason for speaking and identify one key issue or bill?
  • Include valid research and facts to back up your points?
  • Include a personal story about the effects of child abuse prevention?
